MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Winthrop House is a premier residential condominium on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida. We are seeking a skilled, dependable Maintenance Technician to help preserve and maintain our buildings, common elements, and limited common elements. This is a hands-on role working closely with the Operations Director and Head of Maintenance. Candidates with HVAC experience will be given strong preference.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in common areas including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and light replacement
- Respond to resident service requests as assigned and document all work orders via BuildingLink
- Conduct periodic inspections and testing of fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, roof drains, and stairwells
- Assist with preventive maintenance schedules; HVAC servicing experience a significant plus
- Respond to after-hours emergencies including leaks, floods, and HVAC outages; escort emergency responders as needed
- Assist Operations Director with sewer back-ups, water flooding, and shop/facility organization and cleanliness
- Deliver packages, assist residents with light in-unit service requests
- Report building damage, vandalism, missing fixtures, and unusual conditions to the Operations Director promptly
- Maintain and properly use all community equipment and tools
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Director and/or General Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in general building or facilities maintenance required
- HVAC servicing experience strongly preferred
- Skills in carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work
- Familiarity with fire/life safety systems
- Familiarity with BuildingLink or similar property management software a plus
- Must be available for after-hours emergency call-outs as assigned
- Valid driver's license required
- Professional, punctual, discreet, and able to represent a luxury residential building with care and respect for resident privacy
