Position Overview:

We are looking for a reliable, full-time Floor Technician to join our team at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City, FL. This is a consistent, stable position where you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the appearance and safety of our clients' flooring surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing of flooring surfaces including hardwood, tile, vinyl, and carpet using appropriate equipment and techniques. Assess the condition of floors and execute restoration processes to remove stains, scratches, and other imperfections. Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to company standards and client specifications, addressing any deficiencies promptly. Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment necessary for floor care operations. Interact professionally with clients and respond to inquiries or requests, demonstrating a commitment to excellent service. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work schedules and ensure seamless execution of floor care services. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications:

Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Able to be on your feet and physically active throughout your shift. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Proficiency in operating floor care equipment and knowledge of appropriate cleaning techniques and chemicals preferred. Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
