Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair work throughout our hotel property. This position is ideal for someone with strong handyman skills who can troubleshoot and complete a variety of basic repairs while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members. Responsibilities Replace light bulbs and light fixtures as needed Perform basic carpentry repairs, including doors, locks, trim, furniture, and cabinetry Repair drywall, patch holes, and perform touch-up painting Address minor plumbing issues such as clogged drains, running toilets, and faucet repairs Assemble and install furniture, shelving, and equipment Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance needs Respond to guest and employee maintenance requests promptly Assist with room renovations and preventative maintenance projects Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner Follow all safety procedures and company standards Qualifications Previous maintenance, handyman, or facilities experience preferred Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general repairs Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
