Swimming Pool Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in pool maintenance, ensuring that our clients' pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of swimming pools and related equipment. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of pools to assess water quality and equipment functionality. Perform pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces. Maintain pool equipment by troubleshooting issues and performing necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks. Ensure proper chemical balance in pool water through testing and treatment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules and any necessary repairs. Keep accurate records of services performed and equipment used during each visit. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in pool maintenance preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in repair and maintenance tasks. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions. Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is a plus.
