Maintenance Mechanic Zentech Consulting - 3.8 Saint Petersburg, FL Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications English High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Cleanroom Vocational training Full Job Description Has to speak english Maintenance of machines These are machines that make sun lotion, makeup, tanning products This person will set the machines so they are ready to work and give them maintenance They can do overtime A GMP Maintenance Technician ensures that production machinery in regulated environments (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food) operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with FDA or similar standards. They perform preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and documentation on equipment, typically requiring 2-5 years of industrial experience and knowledge of SOPs.
Core Responsibilities Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
Performing scheduled PMs and repairing machinery (e.g., fillers, conveyors) to minimize downtime. Documentation (GDP): Maintaining accurate records of all work performed, which is critical for regulatory compliance (Good Documentation Practices).
Troubleshooting:
Fixing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC equipment, particularly within cleanroom environments.
Compliance:
Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Cleanroom Access:
Gowning and following protocols to work in classified, contamination-controlled areas.
Key Qualifications Experience:
2-5+ years in a regulated manufacturing environment (cGMP).
Technical Skills:
Proficient in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC systems.
Education:
High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance is preferred.
Attributes:
Detail-oriented, strong documentation skills, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
