Bowling Technician

Summary:

An Airport Lanes Bowling Technician is responsible for repair and maintenance of all bowling and bowling maintenance equipment. Technician will perform preventative maintenance on all bowling equipment, repair and maintenance of facilities show equipment and some facilities repair. They may also answer bowling and game calls and help at the bowling counter when necessary. The Bowling Technician is friendly, attentive, and has great attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on bowling equipment per maintenance schedule.
• Repair bowling equipment when needed.
• Maintain, clean and oil bowling lanes.
• Maintain lane cleaning machine.
• Along with technical manager control and inventory bowling supplies.
• Perform preventative maintenance on arcade video games.
• Maintain facility show equipment.
• Perform facility repair when needed.
• Follow all cleanliness and safety guidelines and standards.
• Continue to follow service guidelines during busy and distracting periods.
• Report all safety concerns to Management immediately.
• Complete all assigned side work, including on-going side work and specific cleaning assignments.
• All other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

Skills/Experience:

High school diploma or GED

• Be a team player and possess the willingness and ability to assist when needed in other departments.

Previous bowling/arcade equipment experience preferred Basic math and computer skills A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with other Team Members Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised Excellent Guest service and communication skills. Strong task and time management abilities

Job Activities:

• Maintains above standard level of cleanliness in assigned work area and side stations throughout shift (sweep, mop, clean tables etc.).
• Provides impeccable Guest service, beginning with acknowledging and welcoming Guests
• Employs Team Service to ensure ALL Guests are receiving great service
• Creates a fun experience for Guests and establish a "regular Guest" rapport, while maintaining professional behavior.
• Continues to follow service guidelines during busy and distracting periods.
• Uses empowerment to handle Guest concerns and dissatisfaction ensure and resolution by following up with the Guest.
• Is proactive in identifying and assisting Guests who may need assistance
• Maintains above average concern for both personal and professional cleanliness and hygiene.
• Promote the entertainment options of the venue.
• Keeps an above standard level of hygiene at all times.
• Ensures all equipment is in complete working order. Report any issues to Management immediately.
• Reports all safety concerns to Management immediately.
• Completes all assigned side work, including on-going side work and specific cleaning assignments.

• Must be available to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 8-hour shifts. Must be able to speak, read and comprehend English. Must have close and distant vision. Must be able to identify and distinguish colors. Frequent walking, standing and moving between tight spaces. Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs. Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
