Job Description

We are looking for a
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
to join our City, State plant. As a Maintenance Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will maintain equipment, perform mechanical repairs, and complete minor fabrication work. Why apply? Competitive wages. Opportunities for overtime.

Role Responsibilities:
Promote Safety Prioritize safety for yourself and others in accordance with company standards and MSHA regulations Maintain and Repair Equipment Perform preventative maintenance throughout the plant Repair and rebuild stationary equipment such as crushers, chutes, screens, and conveyors Complete tasks including screen changes, conveyor belt repair, crusher liner changes, and water pump service Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication work as needed Inspect and Monitor Operations Conduct daily inspections of plant equipment and structures to ensure safe and reliable operation Monitor crushing, washing, and screening processes to identify issues and maintain material quality Document Maintenance Activities Maintain service, inspection, and lubrication records to support preventative maintenance programs Support Plant Operations Perform general labor tasks such as cleaning, shoveling, and material handling Assist with additional duties as assigned to support overall plant performance
About You We Require :
1-3 years of related experience (aggregate or construction industry preferred) Welding and fabrication experience Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial tools Good organizational, math, and problem-solving skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work overtime and outdoors in varying weather conditions Willingness to work in environments with noise, dust, and physical demands About Us Each day brings new challenges, and we make sure you are prepared for it all.
