$22.00 to $24.00 per hour, Full-Time Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore Hotel Maintenance Technician III Job Description Job Summary This description is a summary of primary responsibilities and qualifications. The job description is not intended to include all duties or qualifications that may be required now or in the future. The Hotel operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, start times, and hours worked each week. The Hotel Maintenance Technician III is responsible for performing advanced maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel property, guest rooms, public areas, and equipment are maintained in a safe, functional, and visually appealing condition. This position requires strong technical knowledge across multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry, while supporting the overall guest experience and hotel operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and kitchen equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on guest rooms, meeting spaces, public areas, pools, fitness center, and back-of-house equipment.
  • Respond promptly to guest service requests and maintenance work orders in a professional and timely manner.
  • Repair and maintain lighting outlets, switches, appliances, locks, doors, windows, walls, ceilings, flooring, and furniture.
  • Inspect hotel property regularly to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and needed repairs.
  • Assist with special projects and room upgrades as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, fire safety regulations, building codes, and hotel brand standards.
  • Support other maintenance staff by sharing technical knowledge and assisting with complex repairs.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed.
