Job Description
Job Summary An established pool service company in the Tampa Bay area is hiring a Pool Service Technician to run a residential route. Day to day you'll handle a full route — vacuuming, brushing, emptying skimmers and pump baskets, testing and balancing water chemistry, and inspecting equipment. The company provides a stocked service vehicle, chemicals, route software, and ongoing training. This is a full-time, year-round position. Duties Clean and vacuum pools on your assigned residential route Test water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, cyanuric acid) and dose chemicals Empty skimmer and pump baskets, backwash filters as needed Inspect pumps, motors, salt cells, and pool automation for issues Log each service stop with photos in the route app Flag equipment problems and write up repair tickets for the office Maintain a clean, stocked service truck and stay on schedule Requirements At least 6 months of pool route experience (residential or commercial) Valid Florida driver's license and clean MVR Comfortable working outdoors year-round in Florida heat Able to lift 50 lbs and handle pool chemicals safely Basic smartphone proficiency for the route software Reliable, punctual, and comfortable interacting with homeowners Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required Details $17.00-$22.00/hour starting (DOE), with route-based raises Company service vehicle and gas card Chemicals, tools, and uniforms provided Paid time off after 90 days Growth path to senior tech, lead tech, or route supervisor No nights, no weekends
