Experienced NEEDED) We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor Care Technician to join our dynamic cleaning team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our commercial spaces by performing a variety of floor care and custodial tasks. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to restore floors to their optimal shine. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to remove stains, dirt, and debris effectively. Maintain cleanliness of all designated areas by dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and restroom sanitation. Operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, and floor scrubbers safely and efficiently. Follow established safety protocols and environmental standards during all cleaning procedures. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment. Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and supplies used to support operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services, with a focus on commercial cleaning environments preferred. Knowledge of various floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods. Basic understanding of environmental health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
