Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, and executing repairs across various systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment that supports our operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the smooth running of our operations. Duties Conduct regular inspections of building systems, machinery, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and potential hazards. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and integrity. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems within manufacturing or facility operations. Weld metal components and perform mechanical repairs to machinery or structural elements following safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting purposes. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Support customer service initiatives by responding promptly to internal requests for repairs or maintenance assistance. Lead or collaborate with team members on complex maintenance tasks, demonstrating leadership and supervision experience when applicable. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or residential environments. Strong electrical experience including working with schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting electrical issues with tools like ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge encompassing welding, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general repair techniques. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes. Experience reading technical schematics and performing troubleshooting based on diagrams. Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is preferred. Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is advantageous. Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation purposes.
