Maintenance Technician

Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment including HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and appliances using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct mechanical repairs involving belts, motors, pumps, valves, and electrical components to restore equipment functionality efficiently. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs effectively. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support for HVAC installation or mechanical upgrades. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance or repair projects to ensure safety standards and project timelines are met. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed to ensure compliance and facilitate future planning. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, air conditioning, and equipment repair. Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures for complex mechanical systems. Experience working with HVAC systems including installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning units. Knowledge of construction practices related to mechanical installations or upgrades is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with contractors effectively. Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
