Our operations rely on a variety of production and facility systems, including legacy CNC machines, air compressors, freezers, and autoclaves. We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong preventive maintenance skills to keep our equipment running efficiently and reliably. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician will focus on preventive and routine maintenance across older CNC machines and facility systems. This position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working with aging industrial equipment to prevent downtime and extend service life. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections on older CNC machines, compressors, freezers, and autoclaves. Monitor equipment performance, identify wear or potential failures, and complete necessary repairs or adjustments. Lubricate, replace filters, belts, seals, bearings, and other components per maintenance schedules. Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports within the CMMS system. Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance with minimal production disruption. Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues when needed. Support facility maintenance activities, including HVAC systems, vacuum pumps, and support utilities. Follow all safety, quality, and environmental protocols.

Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical, or electrical technology preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong background in preventive maintenance for older CNC equipment and related support systems. Familiarity with compressors, vacuum systems, freezers, and autoclaves. Experience with mechanical repairs, lubrication systems, and component replacement.

Skills:

Ability to read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and mechanical drawings. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and controls (PLC familiarity is a plus). Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying maintenance needs. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and work in varied physical positions (standing, kneeling, climbing). Comfortable working in temperature-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas (freezers, near autoclaves, etc.). Pay:

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
