Yes No Job Summary The primary responsibility of the CMMS Coordinator is to oversee the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) system. This role entails serving as a data system support technician and handling procurement for maintenance and operations. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist the Manager by collecting, documenting, and entering data into the CMMS accurately to facilitate the prioritization of maintenance tasks. Essential Duties Maintains pre-determined inventory levels of consumables, spare parts, and monitors usage rates to meet maintenance demands. Drafts purchase orders for parts from various vendors and provides administrative support for maintenance initiatives. Maintains assets, logs inventory, records work orders, and establishes a preventative maintenance schedule using the CMMS. Supports the balancing and prioritization of maintenance tasks to align with production requirements. Requests pricing and issuance of purchase orders through the utilization of J.D. Edwards software. Develops metrics using data from the CMMS. Possesses a fundamental comprehension of general building maintenance tasks to generate reports for Maintenance management personnel. Engages in process improvement and lean manufacturing concepts. Assists in identifying and resolving problems proactively. Assists and supports the maintenance team in equipment and facility repairs. Conducts preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts and Mobil equipment. Handles maintenance calls to support the production team upon request. Assists OPS during start up and shutdown procedures. Supports the Mold shop in maintaining and performing preventative maintenance on Master Molds. Keeps daily, weekly, and monthly records of fluids needed for the equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Educational Requirements Required High School Diploma/GED 3 - 5 years of experience managing maintenance software Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume work environment Intermediate experience utilizing Microsoft/Windows based computer systems Proactive "self-starter" with a strong attention to detail Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with employees on all levels, including executive leadership Preferred Key Competencies Inter-Relationships Consistent interaction with all levels of employees including executive leadership, as well as software vendor. Working Conditions and Physical Demands Work Environment This position works in a distribution or manufacturing work setting with minimal temperature control. Frequently exposed to seasonal temperatures of excessive cold or heat. Work environment is often loud, dusty and/or dirty due to materials required for production. On call work during non-scheduled hours for machinery malfunction emergencies
