Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanical Technician to support production operations through equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and general mechanical and electrical support. This position requires hands-on problem-solving and the ability to work across all shifts as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform basic Automatic Winder operation Utilize basic electrical and mechanical knowledge to maintain equipment Troubleshoot issues involving AC/DC current Ensure machine parts are ordered and stocked as needed Maintain accurate logs of all repairs and preventative maintenance (PM) Direct and lead fixers across all four shifts Support general upkeep of all operations and equipment Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Basic mechanical and electrical experience Ability to identify and troubleshoot AC/DC current issues Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Previous manufacturing or maintenance experience is a plus
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 75 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed to perform job duties Ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive motions , including grasping, handling, and operating tools or controls Ability to push or pull light materials, carts, or pallets Ability to reach above shoulder level or below waist level as required Ability to visually inspect materials, labels, and equipment , including close vision and color differentiation Ability to hear alarms, machine sounds, and verbal instructions in a production environment Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, heat, dust, or moving machinery
Compensation:
Pay rate is based on experience. Additional responsibilities and role expectations may be discussed with supervisors during the interview process .
