Job Description

E & E Capital Management, LLC is seeking a skilled, reliable, and service-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our residential apartment community team in Decatur, GA. This role is essential to maintaining the quality, safety, and comfort of our community while delivering excellent service to residents. Key Responsibilities As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in preserving property standards and ensuring resident satisfaction by: Property Maintenance & Repairs Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on: Plumbing systems Electrical systems HVAC equipment Appliances General building systems Diagnose maintenance issues efficiently and complete repairs in a timely, cost-effective manner. Complete carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and other general maintenance tasks. Resident Service & Work Orders Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requests. Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with residents. Maintain accurate documentation of completed work orders and maintenance activities. Apartment Turnovers (Make-Ready) Conduct inspections of vacant units. Perform apartment make-ready services to ensure homes are move-in ready for new residents. Identify and address repair needs before occupancy. Community Appearance & Safety Maintain common areas, grounds, and amenities to company cleanliness and safety standards. Assist in identifying and correcting safety hazards throughout the property. Support emergency maintenance needs and participate in after-hours on-call rotation as required. Qualifications Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience , preferably in residential apartment communities or multifamily housing Working knowledge of: Plumbing systems Electrical systems HVAC systems Appliances and general building maintenance Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to read and interpret work orders, maintenance instructions, and technical documents Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation High school diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualifications EPA 608 Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire) Previous multifamily property maintenance experience HVAC troubleshooting experience preferred Compensation & Benefits We value our team members and offer: Competitive pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Health insurance Paid time off (PTO) Employee discounts Flexible scheduling opportunities Career growth and advancement opportunities Stable, long-term employment Supportive and collaborative work environment Why Join E & E Capital Management, LLC?
