Job Title:
Automatic Door Technician (AAADM Current or Past Certification)Position Summary:
- 3 full days a month
- $45k
- 50K ( Must have own tools and transportation to Dublin, GA) We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automatic Door Technician (AAADM) to join our dynamic team.
Door tech responsibilities:
diagnose / repair automatic doors, fix / install manual doors. Glass installation knowledge is helpful. Candidates must have AAADM certification with prior door experience. A mechanical aptitude, positive attitude, and desire to be independent every day is what we are looking for! This is a job that is a part-time position. That's Right!! You will work 3 days a month and a few service calls that have a time frame of 4-24 hours for you to complete. Must have own tools, a truck, and a valid drivers license.Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure automatic door systems according to specifications and industry standards.
- Perform regular maintenance and routine inspections to ensure the optimal performance of automatic doors.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to automatic door systems and execute repairs promptly.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during installations and repairs.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in automatic door systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automatic Door Technician or a similar role.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills with a focus on automatic door systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to various job sites.
Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent; and AAADM current or past certification in automatic door systems a must.
