Service Technician / In-House Maintenance

Overview We are a privately owned company specializing in the manufacture and distribution of chemicals and equipment. In South Georgia we provide service and repair on cleaning equipment across multiple industries. We are looking for a full time Service Technician / In-House Maintenance professional. Duties Diagnose, repair, and service customers hot and cold water pressure washers, parts washers, floor scrubbers, etc. Most work is performed in the field at customer locations. Troubleshoot issues using pressure gauges, volt meters, schematics, technical manuals, and utilizing factory tech support. Uncrate and inspect new equipment for damage. Prepare new equipment for sale. Repair and recondition used equipment for resale. Complete work orders and other paper work required with work assignments. Account for time and material used in performing assigned duties. Maintain a clean work area and service truck. Maintain condition of tools and equipment. Take factory training (both on line and in person) Perform maintenance and repairs at our facility as needed. Perform other duties assigned. Requirements Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge. Ability to perform facilities repairs and maintenance. Ability to perform equipment repairs and maintenance. Ability to read and follow technical manual instructions, to read and follow electrical schematics and to use diagnostic tools such as volt meters and pressure gauges. Ability to perform basic computer functions. Ability to operate company vehicles (Valid driver's license and clean driving record required) Proficient oral and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills with clean communication in English.
