Job Description
Handyman/ Apprentice Engineer/ Helper We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of facilities, equipment, and property. The ideal candidate will help ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment by responding to maintenance requests and completing preventative maintenance tasks. Pay rate will be $21.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience. Key Responsibilities Work with Engineers and help with maintenance request, repairs or preventive maintenances. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Assist with facility improvements, renovations, and special projects. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders. Coordinate with vendors and contractors when necessary. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous maintenance, facilities, or related experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems helpful, but not required. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as required. Must Speak English Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (or as required by the position). Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Work Schedule Full-time- Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Weekend work may be needed.
