Installation and Maintenance Technician - DP Water and Ice

Role:

We are seeking a reliable Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing point-of-use water systems that utilize the latest purification technologies to produce pure water and ice in a variety of professional and commercial settings. You will also perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This is the first, dedicated technician hire for our new division and comes with future leadership opportunities within a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Install point-of-use water dispensers in offices, warehouses, and other commercial spaces Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and filter replacements Promptly diagnose and repair technical issues with dispenser units Interact professionally with clients on-site and ensure a positive customer experience Maintain accurate service records and document completed tasks Manage tools, parts, and inventory efficiently Respond to service calls in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently and traveling to customer sites Good communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights required for routing tubing

Preferred:

Prior experience in appliance or equipment installation Familiarity and experience with point-of-use water filtration systems Experience routing water tubing or structured cabling Trade certifications are a plus This full-time position offers a benefit package that includes matched 401k, health/dental/vision insurance, and PTO (paid time off) and competitive compensation based on level of experience.
