Job Description

Purpose:
Responsible for the upkeep and repair of all plant/facility equipment and the performing of preventive/predictive maintenance as required, preventing unnecessary downtime. Key Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed) : Responsible for mechanical repair on all plant equipment Set-up machines for production Connect pneumatic and hydraulic lines to equipment Perform preventative maintenance Install replacement parts and order parts as necessary Repair leaks on machinery Install, maintain and repair equipment including, but not limited to, piping, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Assure that all aspects of work conform to Company safety practices Assist assigned operator in try-out of equipment upon completion of servicing.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
2-year technical degree preferred, but comparable experience in Mechanical field will be accepted, based on amount and quality of training and skill sets.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to interpret hydraulic and/or pneumatic diagrams Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints Ability to read and diagnosis complex electrical circuits Ability to read and troubleshoot complex Ladder Logic Programming Ability to read and comprehend Electrical/Mechanical/Pneumatic/Hydraulic Schematics. Robotics, Ability to troubleshoot/program/repair Familiar with PLC's troubleshooting/programming/networking (Omron Preferably) Ability to use various types of electrical Test Equipment. (DVM,MEG-Meters-,Amp Meters, Thermography Systems, Vibration Analysis Systems)
Legal Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age due to federal labor law requirements. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Supervisory Responsibility:
None Working Conditions:
Constant manufacturing floor and occasional office setting work. Frequent exposure to noise and moving machinery. Frequent exposure to slippery surfaces and occasional exposure to uneven surfaces. Constant requirement of PPE use.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, twisting, bending, reaching. Frequent lifting, carrying up to 20 lbs. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Remote Work:
Not eligible for hybrid or remote work
