Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our community. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across various systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your m, electrical, and technical skills in a fast-paced setting dedicated to our residents. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct repairs involving welding, electrical wiring, or mechanical components to restore equipment functionality promptly. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, carpentry, and general building upkeep. Supervise or mentor junior team members or contractors during maintenance projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance environments. Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and repairs. Electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing, and working with schematics. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Skilled in welding techniques for metal fabrication and repair tasks. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration. Leadership or supervising experience to guide maintenance activities efficiently while fostering a safety-first culture. Customer service mindset to address internal client needs promptly and professionally.
