Job Description
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs on equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and maintaining compliance with safety standards.Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and maintenance processes. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related discipline.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
