Our optical manufacturing facility is growing and expanding! We're seeking a Maintenance technician to join our team. 1st
Shift Schedule:
Monday through Friday (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) Pay & extras: Base pay plus extra bi-weekly bonus opportunities. We also have a generous PTO plan and many other benefits.

Job DescriptionOur associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their department and lab needs. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the lab. Principal duties and responsibilities include:

Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintaining PM checklistsHandling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down timeServicing and maintaining Edgers, Generators and BlockersCleaning, changing parts, performing checks, calibratingIdentifying issues and performing repairsAssisting with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the labFollowing all safety measures, "Lock out / Tag out" procedures and utilizing PPE if requiredQualificationsNo specific education required1 year previous experience in industrial maintenance (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.)Experience in manufacturing desired, optical industry knowledge a plus but not requiredMust be able to read and write EnglishRequires accuracy, some mental effort and occasional organization and planningAdditional InformationNational Vision offers a competitive benefits package.
