Hotel Maintenance Technician

Holiday Inn Express Locust Grove is looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day repairs and upkeep of the property. This role requires someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple maintenance tasks efficiently while maintaining hotel standards. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the hotel Troubleshoot and repair PTAC (heating and cooling units) Handle grouting, caulking, and tile repairs Repair and adjust door hinges, locks, and hardware Perform drywall repairs and touch-up painting Address plumbing and minor electrical issues as needed Complete preventive maintenance tasks on a regular schedule Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff Systems & Tracking Use the Quore application to manage and track maintenance work orders Maintain accurate records using Excel spreadsheets for repairs, inventory, and preventive maintenance logs Qualifications Previous hotel or building maintenance experience preferred Experience with PTAC units strongly preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, and general repairs Ability to use mobile apps and basic computer programs (Quore, Excel) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to lift, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Flexible scheduling options Supportive work environment Opportunity for growth within the IHG brand
