Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Expert to take ownership of the reliability, performance, and longevity of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role is critical to our operation's success and requires an individual who can operate both strategically and hands-on—developing preventive maintenance systems while actively troubleshooting and repairing equipment. This is not a reactive maintenance role. We are looking for someone who can build, implement, and sustain a world-class preventive and predictive maintenance program that ensures maximum uptime and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Leadership Develop, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) program for all plant equipment Establish maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations, usage rates, and failure history Transition the facility from reactive maintenance to a planned and predictive maintenance environment Maintain detailed service records, logs, and performance metrics for all equipment Equipment Reliability & Uptime Ensure all production equipment is operating at optimal performance with minimal downtime Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues quickly and effectively Identify root causes of failures and implement long-term corrective actions Monitor equipment trends and proactively address potential failures before they occur Equipment & Systems Coverage Maintain and support a wide range of industrial equipment, including: CNC Laser Tube Cutter CNC Bending Machines Welding Equipment (MIG/TIG) Forklifts & Material Handling Equipment Drill Presses & Fabrication Equipment Pressure Washing Systems Powder Coat Systems (ovens, booths, guns, ventilation) Facility Electrical Systems, Fans, and Airflow Systems New Equipment Installation & Setup Lead installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery Ensure proper electrical connections, calibration, and operational readiness Coordinate with vendors and contractors during installation and servicing Develop maintenance plans for new equipment prior to production launch Inspection & Compliance Execute and manage scheduled inspections for all equipment and facility systems Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and OSHA requirements Identify and correct unsafe conditions related to equipment and facility operations Continuous Improvement Drive initiatives that improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and lower maintenance costs Recommend upgrades, modifications, or replacements based on performance data Support production teams by improving equipment efficiency and ease of operation Required Qualifications Certified in electrical systems (Journeyman Electrician or equivalent preferred) Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Hands-on experience with CNC equipment, fabrication machinery, and industrial systems Strong mechanical aptitude (hydraulics, pneumatics, and general machinery repair) Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs Preferred Qualifications Experience with CNC laser or bending equipment maintenance Familiarity with powder coating systems and industrial ovens PLC troubleshooting and basic programming knowledge Experience implementing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) What Success Looks Like in This Role Equipment downtime is minimized and predictable Preventive maintenance is completed on schedule with full accountability Equipment failures are reduced through root cause analysis and corrective action New equipment is brought online efficiently and correctly the first time The maintenance function becomes a proactive driver of production performance , not a reactive support role Why This Role Matters This position directly impacts our ability to meet customer demand, control costs, and maintain a safe and efficient operation. The right candidate will play a key role in strengthening our operational foundation and enabling future growth. HOURS Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Friday - overtime as needed
