Job Description

Parkside Nursing Home is currently looking to hire a Floor Technician.
Shift:
10:00AM - 6:00 PM DUTIES and
REQUIREMENTS
Maintains the floors in the facility including cleaning, stripping, waxing and buffing floors. Must be experienced operating floor cleaning & buffing machinery. Keeps equipment clean and in proper working condition. Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout the facility. Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times. Ensures the use of chemicals and other cleaning supplies is used in a safe and proper manner. Removes any trash or spills on floors. Must be able to work in a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a floor technician with experience buffing, stripping floors, waxing floors. Experience in a Long Term Care facility or other medical facility is a plus. Must be able to work Monday through Friday and every other weekend. Must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients at the facility, patient's family members, co-workers, supervisor and visitors in the facility. Must have High School diploma or GED equivalent. We look forward to hearing from you!
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
