This 5-month contract-to-hire role is ideal for a mechanically inclined maintenance professional who enjoys independent work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience.

Schedule is a swing shift:

Sunday & Monday 11:00pm-7:30am, Thursday-Saturday 3:00pm-11:30pm, with Tuesday and Wednesday off. Pay is $23- 25.80/hr.

Job Description:

Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems, industrial equipment, and facility infrastructure Conduct daily rounds to monitor building operations and ensure proper functionality of systems and equipment Complete HVAC and electrical preventive maintenance tasks and respond to emergency maintenance requests Troubleshoot and repair building systems including plumbing, HVAC, lighting, roofing, drains, and mechanical equipment Support generator operations, maintenance, and inventory management activities Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed, and complete maintenance documentation accurately Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems Maintain lighting systems throughout the facility, including replacing bulbs and cleaning fixtures Perform general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, furniture assembly, locksmith work, and grounds maintenance Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and HSE standards Travel between nearby sites using a company vehicle as needed

Must Have Qualifications:

Commercial HVAC experience 3+ years of maintenance, facilities, or building engineering experience Strong mechanical aptitude and general maintenance troubleshooting skills Experience with carpentry and general building repairs Understanding of safety regulations and maintenance procedures Ability to work independently and respond quickly to maintenance issues Basic computer, tablet, and CMMS experience Strong communication and organizational skills High school diploma or GED required; trade school experience is a plus Nice to

Have Qualifications:

HVAC experience or applicable HVAC certifications/licenses Electrical maintenance experience Experience working in data center, industrial, or mission-critical environments Experience operating or maintaining generators Familiarity with preventive maintenance scheduling and inventory management
