Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Pool Cleaner and become a vital part of maintaining sparkling, safe, and inviting swimming environments! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring pools are clean, well-maintained, and functioning optimally. Your hands-on skills will help create a positive experience for pool users by delivering thorough cleaning and routine maintenance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills while contributing to a clean and safe aquatic environment. Responsibilities Perform regular pool cleaning tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to keep pools pristine. Conduct routine pool maintenance such as checking chemical levels, adjusting pH, and ensuring water clarity and safety standards are met. Inspect pool equipment like pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; identify issues and perform basic repairs or notify the service technician for complex repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance tasks efficiently and safely. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, chemical treatments, and repairs to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally or as needed to ensure proper preparation for usage or storage. Follow all safety protocols during maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on pool equipment. Experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of pool maintenance techniques including chemical balancing, water testing, and filtration systems. Ability to perform thorough pool cleaning using various tools and techniques effectively. Service technician experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with diagnosing equipment issues. Excellent attention to detail combined with good physical stamina for manual cleaning tasks. Strong communication skills to document work performed and report any issues promptly.
