Job Description

Piedmont Crossing is a not‑for‑profit continuing care community where compassionate professionals and vibrant residents come together to create a meaningful living experience. Located in beautiful Davidson County, North Carolina, our licensed Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) has been a trusted choice for more than 35 years. We offer a full continuum of services—including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care—designed to support residents at every stage of aging. Maintenance Technician The Maintenance Technician provides assistance in maintaining the property, plant and equipment of the facility. This position maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions. They respond to maintenance requests by Residents and Staff and perform several additional duties. The MT constructs, repairs and maintains structures; such as, equipment, partitions and other parts of buildings, using hand and power tools according to written and oral instructions. Performs electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, plaster, repairs and plumbing tasks as directed. Performs landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, hedging, weeding, spreading fertilizer, mulch, sowing grass, setting out plants, watering, trimming of trees and shrubs. Assists in maintaining, cleaning and inspecting company motor vehicles.
Minimal Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimal Experience:
1. One year experience in a health care setting preferred. 2. One year experience as a maintenance technician.
Other Qualifications:
Valid driver's license, and ability to meet EveryAge's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage.
