Sign Installer

Do you want to work in a creative environment? Do you like to build things? We are looking for a full-time installer/production person who takes Pride in their work . Spray painting skills a must. We are a fast pace sign company, being detail oriented a must. We install many different kinds of signs. Handyman skills are what we are looking for. Must be physically fit for lifting and working at heights. Cutting sheet material to size for signs. Use of hand tools, building skills, HVLP Spray painting. A clean driving record and being able to read a tape measure is a must. Must be self-motivated, able to problem solve and forward thinking.

Skills needed:

• Spray painting, HVLP spray painting

• Construction experience is a plus
• Installation of vinyl graphics

Responsibilities:

• Conducting site surveys to evaluate the location, assess potential challenges, and to decide on the best methods and equipment for the job
• Loading and transporting signs, tools, and materials to and from install locations safely
• Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage, preparing the surface or structure, and installing new signage
• Ensuring the effective measurement, placement, and installation of the sign
• Operating and maintaining provided tools and equipment
• Operating bucket truck
• Production tasks including painting, running a spray gun and cutting materials, in shop assembly of sign components
• Installation of vinyl graphics
• Keeping the shop and service vehicles clean and organized

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• A clean driving record
• Proven experience as an Installer or similar construction role, including painting and running a paint gun
• Strong technical and mathematical skills, must be able to read tape measure and center a sign in its space
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and forward thinking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience with paint spray guns, tape measures, and various hand tools
• Installation of vinyl graphics
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the industry

Compensation:

• $16 - $18 hourly wage to start, rate based on skill level
• There is room for growth and training as well as more money if you are willing to work for it
• Paid holidays
