Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician and become a vital part of ensuring our facilities operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and repairing a wide range of equipment to keep our operations running seamlessly. Your expertise will help create a safe, comfortable environment for staff and visitors alike, while showcasing your technical skills in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and more. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and leadership abilities in a fast-paced setting that values proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, electrical panels, pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and various mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals. Perform equipment repairs efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance across all facility systems. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring proper installation of new equipment. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to resolve urgent issues that could impact safety or operations. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical systems, and performing preventive maintenance. Familiarity with construction processes and the ability to assist in installation or upgrade projects. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Certifications related to HVAC (such as EPA certification), refrigeration licenses, or appliance repair are highly desirable. Pay:
$25.41 - $33.07 per hour
