Duties Perform detailed cleaning of industrial floors using appropriate equipment such as scrubbers, sweepers, and mops to ensure spotless surfaces. Conduct routine sanitation procedures to meet health and safety regulations, especially in food production or processing areas. Remove debris, spills, and waste materials from large workspaces efficiently and safely. Use heavy lifting techniques to move cleaning supplies, equipment, or waste containers as needed. Follow strict safety protocols during cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure a hazard-free environment. Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly. Assist with general custodial tasks around the facility to support overall cleanliness and sanitation efforts. Skills Proven experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within manufacturing or warehouse environments. Strong knowledge of sanitation standards applicable to food processing or production facilities. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers and sweepers safely and effectively. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and walking throughout shifts. Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of all surfaces. Good communication skills for following instructions and reporting issues clearly. Familiarity with safety protocols related to industrial cleaning operations.
