Maintenance Technician

Job Title:

Production Technician Job Description As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for performing essential maintenance tasks and ensuring the quality of machinery and products. This role involves frequent bending and lifting of up to 50 pounds, performing PC functions related to maintenance, and working closely with a maintenance technician to complete repairs and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Collaborate with a maintenance technician to complete repairs and troubleshoot machinery issues. Ensure the quality of machinery and products through effective maintenance practices. Enter parts inventory into the work system. Complete work orders, including comments and parts associated with them. Submit purchasing requisitions for necessary parts. Essential Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes. Proficiency in problem solving and repair. Experience with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Knowledge of pneumatics and chemical processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean and well-maintained chemical environment. The position operates during the 2nd shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $26.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
