$24/hr to start Will be working on food production equipment Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs, with a focus on maintaining our facilities and equipment to meet food safety standards. Responsibilities Perform building HVAC, plumbing, electrical, PLC, and mechanical repairs as necessary. Utilize e-maintenance to manage equipment, PM process, parts ordering, and predictive maintenance. Implement preventative and predictive maintenance measures for equipment. Maintain inventory of repair equipment, supplies, and tools. Organize and maintain maintenance areas to meet food safety requirements. Complete inspections of facilities and equipment with the Maintenance Manager. Respond quickly to emergencies, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocols. Proactively design and implement hygienic equipment solutions to improve uptime and safety. Regularly clean and maintain tools in an organized manner. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality, to facilitate equipment maintenance. Essential Skills PLC troubleshooting Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Preventive maintenance HVAC experience Experience with 240v, hydraulics, and pneumatics Ability to read and understand schematics Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in maintaining food production equipment Automotive and HVAC experience Facilities maintenance experience Repair and maintenance of minor production equipment Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is climate-controlled, starting on the first shift for training, then moving to the third shift with hours from 11pm to 8am, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays as needed. The role involves troubleshooting conveyors, mixers, lifts, and other small component machinery. Employees will wear smocks and hair nets to maintain food safety standards and sanitize before and after all work. Quality Assurance inspections ensure compliance with food-grade requirements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodbine, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00
