About Us Weeks & Leo is a 120-year-old, FDA-approved manufacturer of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceuticals. Based in Des Moines, Iowa which is consistently ranked among the most livable U.S. cities—we offer a strong community, excellent amenities, and a stable, team-oriented work environment. We manufacture and package liquid products for major national drug chains and mass merchandisers using equipment such as bottle fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners, and tube fillers. Position Overview We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and production efficiency in 4-day/week second shift (Noon till 10:30PM Monday - Thu). This role is responsible for machine repair, preventative maintenance, and line setup to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and packaging equipment Perform basic facilities maintenance Set up, adjust, and support filling and packaging lines Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime Respond quickly to equipment issues to keep production running Assist with line changeovers and startups Maintain compliance with safety and GMP standards Keep work area clean and organized (5S) Fill in on production lines when necessary May assist in shipping and warehouse activities Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or processing environment Experience with equipment setup and continuous production lines preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Detail-oriented with a proactive work ethic Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to read & write English Experience driving a forklift and other mobile equipment Can lift up to 50 lbs Schedule 4-day/week
