Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager with the successful operation of the maintenance department. This position is responsible for ensuring the completion of all tasks related to preventive maintenance, repairing, replacing, and maintaining all facilities, grounds, property, equipment and pools.
Essential Functions:
Maintain a high level of safety awareness, follow all safety procedures, and ensure a clean and safe work environment for all guests and employees. Responsible for completing and ensuring the completion of all the facility general maintenance to include painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems. Responsible for maintaining lawn care and landscaping of grounds inclusive of plowing, shoveling, sweeping, mowing, weeding, planting, trimming, raking and removal of garbage and debris. Maintain and monitor all lift stations. Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement work on equipment. Review auditable documents and daily readings of pool equipment to ensure compliance with state and local codes. Manage the computer-based preventive maintenance program by upgrading, deleting, and confirming information on all equipment as needed. Responsible for adjusting and maintaining comfortable temperature levels throughout the property using the computer software. Provide exceptional guest service for all external and internal customers. Responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager with the operation of the Maintenance department, successful performance of employees, and a favorable guest experience. Job duties, tasks, work hours, work requirements, and other duties as assigned may be added or changed at any time.
Required:
High School diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years experience in basic air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance. Must pass property alcohol training. Must have a valid driver's license and meet driving requirements established by the company's vehicle insurance carrier.
