Midwest Healthcare Linen is a family business and is an established commercial laundry boasting over 15 years in Des Moines seeking an individual with a minimum of 1 year maintenance experience and innate mechanical capabilities. Experience in welding, Pneumatics , hydraulics, electrical control troubleshooting and boiler maintenance preferred. Experience in production environment is preferred. Able to work with little or no supervision, take responsibility for repairs to the finish.
Responsibilities include:
Laundry equipment repairs, physical plant maintenance, boiler, hot water heater and plumbing/piping operations as their skills and training dictate. Preventative maintenance program duties and on-the-spot breakdown/repair requests need to be followed. 3rd Grade boiler Engineer a plus. Safety comes first OSHA regulations, lockout-tag out procedures are of primary concern. Competitive wage and benefits.
