Perennial Property Management Des Moines, IA Job Details Full-time From $24 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Drywall Customer service Groundskeeping Driver's License Appliance repair Full Job Description Property Maintenance Technician Perennial Properties Management is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Property Maintenance Technician to assist with the upkeep and maintenance of residential apartment communities. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing quality service to residents.
Responsibilities:
Complete daily work orders in a timely and professional manner. Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and apartment units. Conduct apartment turns, including basic repairs, painting, cleaning preparation, and inspections. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, doors, windows, and fixtures. Maintain common areas, grounds, and building exteriors. Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed. Work with vendors and contractors when necessary. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company standards and safety regulations. Participate in routine property inspections and identify maintenance concerns.
Qualifications:
Previous apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and appliance repair. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong customer service and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor, including climbing stairs and ladders.
