POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician's primary responsibility is to repair and maintain the company's machinery, equipment, and building using a broad knowledge of maintenance skills including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and electrical repair.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment used throughout the company to ensure optimal function. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions or operating difficulties and make repairs or adjustments to keep equipment in production. Develop and enhance a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment. Complete maintenance projects to advance the company as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Update and maintain required maintenance logs and files to ensure timely and appropriate maintenance is achieved.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Fork Truck, BOOM Lift, and VERSA Lift Certified Lock Out, Tag Out Certified

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical environment requires the employee to work in a manufacturing and office environment. The employee must have the ability to wear personal protective equipment.
