Maintenance Technician

Summary Due to growth and expansion, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kluesner Sanitation. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional sanitation services. This position may also serve as a flex driver, and a CDL is preferred. Responsibilities Operate cardboard baler to process and prepare recyclable materials in a safe and efficient manner Sort, stage, and manage cardboard and other recyclables to maintain an organized work area Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment (greasing, tightening, cleaning, etc.) Complete light facility maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep Assist with basic welding and fabrication projects as needed Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work environment, following all company and OSHA guidelines Support yard and facility operations, including moving materials and assisting other team members Serve as a backup or "flex" driver when needed (if CDL is held), including operating company vehicles and completing assigned routes Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections when operating as a driver Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or operational needs to management promptly Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Familiarity with logic controllers and schematics is essential. Basic welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.
