Job Description

Christie Door Company is currently hiring Door Installation Technicians. Christie Door Store is a new company and we are looking for people that we can build a business around. The ideal candidates will have basic mechanical and carpentry skills, be self-motivated and take pride in providing quality work for customers. A valid driver's license is required for this position. Standard work week is four, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday or 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday-Friday. This is a full time, hourly position with a full benefit package available. Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
Your primary duties include:
Service and installation of residential and commercial doors and operating systems. Ability to take charge of a project and make sure it is done to company standards. Drive company owned trucks/equipment to job sites. Diagnose/problem shoot malfunctioning doors and operating systems. Use of hand and power tools on a daily basis. Adhere to company and job site safety standards/policies. Proper documentation of work order completion and submission of paperwork.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
We are looking for leaders, people that want to contribute to a company success. Valid driver's license and must be insurable to drive company vehicle. Ability to lift 75 pounds. Work at heights up to 24 feet. Basic tool and measuring device experience. Self-motivated. Able to work overtime when required. Professional attitude and ability to work with others. Detail oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Work outside in all weather conditions
Preferred:
Previous door installation or service experience Mechanical or carpentry experience
