Job Description
Temp to Hire •Production Maintenance Mechanic-2nd shift•+ Work with mechanical, pneumatic maintenance, machinery, equipment, and light electrical repair. + Diagnose machinery and equipment malfunctions to determine the extent of repairs needed. + Perform preventative maintenance inspections and timely efficient service on machines while coordinating PM schedule with Supervisor. + Coordinates with Storeroom/Inventory Specialist by identifying parts and services needed to complete maintenance tasks/projects. + Makes necessary modifications and implements test runs; confers with Supervisor regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required. + Collects feedback on potential repairs & improvements + Understands company policies, follows and enforces safety regulations, participates in safety initiatives, learns production schedule, and is aware of production schedules when estimating completion times or a repair assignment. + Recommends measures to improve efficiency, equipment performance, and quality of the product. Will also diagnose mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions to minimize future downtime. + Thoroughly cleans machines & machine parts (removing and reinstalling as necessary), maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies in an organized and clean environment and ensures proper care of tools and equipment. + Prepare reports documenting work performed + And other duties as assigned by supervisor Located in Sioux City IowaLSI Staffing is An Equal Opportunity Employer.
