Job Description

Personnel Plus, Inc. Boise, is
NOW HIRING
seasonal Parks Maintenance Techs! East Boise/Barber Valley work location $17.50 p/h to start- first season Excellent opportunity working with
County Parks Duties:
  • Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, weeding, raking, pruning, and other landscaping tasks.
  • Conduct basic maintenance and janitorial duties for public facilities and grounds, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, window and restroom cleaning.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools and equipment.
  • Inspect equipment for damage after use and maintain inventory records.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Follow all workplace and job-specific safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Perform other assigned tasks related to Parks and Waterways functions as needed
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Be Drug-Free
  • Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in facility maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices.
  • Understanding of workplace safety procedures.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Strong customer service and professional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships and interact with discretion and tact.
  • Ability to operate equipment and motor vehicles (including light trucks) safely.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maintain sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes.
  • Flexibility to work a non-standard schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to work varying schedules between 7 am- 10 pm during peak season
