Fence installer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and a strong understanding of various installation techniques. As a Fence Installer, you will be responsible for building and installing fences, ensuring quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various outdoor conditions. Responsibilities Construct and install various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain link, barbed wire, pipe and ornamental. Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble fence components accurately. Perform frame carpentry tasks as needed to ensure proper alignment and stability of the fence structures. Execute masonry work for fence bases or posts where required. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines. Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation methods based on terrain and customer specifications. Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for installation. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly after use. Follow safety protocols at all times to minimize risks on the job site. Qualifications Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to fence installation. Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques is an asset. Familiarity with masonry work and hardscape installations is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
