Job Description
Join Our Team Mesa Management is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician I to help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our apartment communities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in apartment maintenance while learning from experienced maintenance professionals. The ideal candidate is hardworking, takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and is committed to providing residents with a quality living environment. Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community, including grounds, parking lots, and common areas. Assist with apartment turns by cleaning, painting, and preparing vacant units for new residents. Perform general maintenance and repair tasks as assigned. Assist with preventative maintenance projects. Identify and report safety concerns or property issues. Follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures. Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Support maintenance operations at other communities as needed. QualificationsRequired Minimum 1 year of maintenance, construction, landscaping, janitorial, or related experience preferred. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Ability to participate in an on-call schedule. Preferred Apartment maintenance experience Trade school or vocational training Basic knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, or appliance repair Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools.
