Summary Full-Time Maintenance & Janitorial Position at Garner Hotel in Idaho Falls. Are you a diligent and reliable individual with a knack for keeping things in top shape? Garner Hotel is seeking a dedicated full-time Maintenance & Janitorial team member to join our crew. We pride ourselves on providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all our guests, and you'll be a key part of making that happen.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily janitorial duties, including cleaning common areas and restrooms.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; empty trash cans and restock supplies.
- Complete routine maintenance tasks such as fixing minor plumbing issues, changing lightbulbs, and painting.
- Assist with preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and facilities.
- Respond to maintenance and cleaning requests from staff and guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and storage room.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a janitorial or maintenance role is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
