This position reports to the Director of Engineering. Job Posting Deadline Applications for this position will be accepted until May 24, 2026.Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete all general maintenance requests as needed including all areas inside and outside of the hotel & related properties
• Tape, spackle, and paint walls
• Promptly and courteously respond to guest room calls
• Ensure work orders are tracked, completed, and prioritized
• Help plan and coordinate projects during the off season
• Perform safety inspections
• Ensure all compliance standards are met including OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and GHS (Global Harmonized System for chemicals)
• Identify process improvements and best practice
• Report all safety hazards and suspicious persons or activities to management
• Monitor and maintain fire detection system and help with any emergency evacuation
• Interact with guests on a daily basis
• Other duties as assigned QualificationsEducation & Experience Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 4 years' experience in mechanical fields such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) electrical and/or plumbing preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, mechanical repairs, and carpentry
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Familiarity with company rules, regulations, and operational standards
• Understanding on how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively
• Basic industry terminology
• Demonstrates expertise in the technical aspect of the job
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Completes tasks and goals efficiently and effectively
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Follows all safety policies and procedures and exercises caution when working
• Proficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and customersAdditional InformationWork Environment & Physical Demands
• Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time
• Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
