Job Description

Talascend is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Lewiston, Idaho . Overview The maintenance technician supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. The role involves performing repairs, inspections, and general maintenance tasks to ensure facility safety and functionality. Responsibilities Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts Assist the operations team in maintenance and repair of building and equipment Perform general interior maintenance such as hanging pictures and repairing office furniture Conduct minor plumbing repairs Complete special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and other maintenance as assigned Move office furniture, machinery, and other materials as requested Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting occupancy and operations Be on call for after-hours emergencies Comply with safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping Ensure compliance with relevant codes and ordinances Participate in ongoing training programs Document work performance and materials procurement Work independently or as part of a team Qualifications 3+ years of applicable experience in building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work Valid state driver's license Preferred Qualifications Completion of an applicable technical training program We thank all applicants for their interest.
