Senior General Contracting & Handyman Technician - Hands - On Field Role

Simler Solutions is hiring a skilled Senior General Contracting & Handyman Technician to join our growing team. This is a physically active, hands-on field position requiring daily construction and repair work in residential and commercial environments. We are looking for an experienced technician who can work independently, solve problems on-site, communicate professionally with clients, and help support and teach less experienced technicians while actively working alongside the team. This is not a project manager or office-based estimating position. Responsibilities Complete residential and commercial construction, repair, and remodel projects Perform carpentry, trim, drywall, painting, fixture installation, doors/windows, and general repair work Read and execute work scopes accurately Troubleshoot job-site challenges and implement solutions independently Communicate progress, changes, and concerns with the office team Support and teach less experienced technicians when needed Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites Represent Simler Solutions professionally with homeowners, business owners, and property managers Qualifications 3+ years of residential and/or commercial construction experience Strong carpentry and general repair skills Ability to work independently on most jobs Comfortable working on two-story residential and commercial buildings, including ladder and elevated work Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday, including lifting materials and active job-site work Ability to safely operate power tools and construction equipment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation & Benefits $25-$34/hr DOE Company vehicle and fuel card Paid holidays Company-provided uniforms (5 days) Heavy winter coat provided Ongoing training and skill development Supportive, family-first company culture About Simler Solutions Simler Solutions is a growing residential and commercial general contracting and handyman company focused on quality craftsmanship, professionalism, and strong client relationships.
